Brigid Ann Roberson
Brigid Ann Roberson, of Pflugerville, Texas, has always had a passion for helping young girls with life skills. Upon graduating from Texas State University, she worked for the Texas Employment Commission with the J.O.B.S. (Job Opportunities and Basic Skills) program. She fondly remembers changing lives and providing a major impact by showing young ladies how to support themselves and their families. Brigid provided exceptional training on life skills and job placement so that the ladies could return to maintream society non-dependent on AFDC to support themselves. This passion matriculated into many years of mentoring young girls and women to be better and continue on to greatness.
She was the first to graduate college in her family in 1989, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a minor in Business. She holds a Master’s Degree, with Magna Cum Laude honors, in Security Management for Executives from the University of Houston Downtown and is currently a doctoral student of Interdisciplinary Leadership at Creighton University.
Brigid is an extraordinary leader, motivational speaker, and talented woman who is destined for greatness. She is listed in Who’s Who Global Directory, a Life Member of NAACP, a member of The Links, Incorporated, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and many other organizations.
Brigid is a consummate family woman who spends her life helping others. Her motto: If I can help somebody along this journey, then my living shall not be in vain.
While working for the J.O.B.S. Program, Brigid provided exceptional training on life skills and job placement. This training gave the young women the skills needed to support themselves and to return to mainstream society non-dependent on federal assistance. Her
passion for empowering women is evident in the many years she has spent mentoring countless young girls and women as they reach their full potential to not only be better, but to continue on to greatness.
